As an art therapist with three years of experience, I offer a safe and nonjudgmental space for individuals to explore their inner selves through the process of art. I use a variety of art mediums such as pencil, crayons, paper, canvas, paints, clay, sand, and glass in conjunction with psychotherapy to help individuals cope with life challenges. You don't need to be an artist to engage in art therapy, just open to the process. I received my MA in Marriage and Family Therapy with a concentration in Art Therapy from Notre Dame de Namur University and I am PhD Candidate (ABD) researching art therapy, resilience, and persistence.
